It's unfortunate that there are hardly any other places to eat in this area in Koloa. So if you are hungry and stuck (as we were), you might end up in Pizzetta, as we did. The service was incredibly slow on this particular day, and when I finally did get my calzone, it was cold on the inside! It was as if it had been frozen (probably was), and it didn't get all the way thawed out in the oven! It took a long time to be able to bring this to the attention of the apparently overworked waitress, but I finally did, and she brought it back to the kitchen, where they gave it some more heat. Then it took a very long time to get it back. By the time she brought it back, my husband was done with his meal. That was no fun! It got a bad review in the Guide to Kauai, and it deserved it! Just don't go there!
OK pasta, good service

I had a dish of penne pasta here, which was OK. Nothing all that remarkable about it. The pasta was cooked properly. The server was very attentive and prompt to respond.

In our week on Kauai, we ate here twice. The service is friendly--we even got tips on out-of-the-way places to visit--and the food is tasty with generous servings. I recommend the calzones.
